Spiders. There were actually giant spiders in the woods somewhere. Alice had been preparing for a new adventure, but this mission had taken the cake. The woods had a whole variety of woodland creatures, usually singing birds and deer. She just hoped that those spiders wouldn't attack a person out of nowhere. Actually, spiders can be easily squished, but those kind of spiders were no easy task. These were giant spiders that the quest board was talking about. The woods wasn't a safe place anyway, but she was willing to give it a try. Spiders were good as pets especially tarantulas, but that would be another subject for another time. For now, spider extermination was underway for those giant spiders.

And there they were. Those creepy crawlies had come out of the treetops to do battle. With that in mind, she did a spell incantation which summoned a small tornado towards one of the spiders. She hoped that the attack would connect, but this was actually her first battle with those things. Yes, she had never been in a battle before, but this will be the first if those kind of battles were difficult. Spiders were arachnids after all. They must have some sort of weakness in their arsenal. If not, those wind spells will have to deal some damage for now. The outbreak of those spiders was going to be bad news for those lumberjacks working in the woods.

Oh damn it. The spider just shot a web and her leg was now stuck. Well, try prying it loose with a tornado, but that wouldn't work. It looked like it was a very strong web. Very strong indeed. The best she could do now was to keep attacking the spider and that would be the bet course of action for right now. Using the same spell incantation, she summoned yet another small tornado at the spider. Wind spells will do much damage since there was apparent logic that tornadoes were strong winds. That first battle wasn't going to go well unless that web was destroyed somehow. Somehow, the web could be destroyed by fire, but there wasn't any fire spells to be used. What a bummer.
Amber Reiner, a trainee pyro-mancer, walked through the forest in search of the Wolf spiders on the bulletin board she had passed before arriving in the forest. Scanning the trees for spiders, she spotted someone fending some spiders off with small tornadoes. Quickly rushing over, she quickly ran over to the trapped Wind Sorcerer and chanted an incantation to summon a fireball to burn through the web containing the Sorcerer's foot.
"There we go!" she exclaimed, "Now let's get these meanies!" She launched a few fireballs at the spiders, causing some of them to fall back. "by the way," she asked, "what's your name?"

And someone had come to save the day and her foot was no longer trapped in the web of doom. "Thank you for helping me. My name is Alice." The fire was actually the key to fighting off those giant spiders, but wind spells worked just fine too. Now, the battle will be easier once this girl was helping out. Chanting out another wind spell, a small tornado was aimed at one of the spiders once again. Those spiders had to be killed with fire which the girl had demonstrated and she was grateful for that. So, there were some people out there that would help out some of the newer adventurers. The girl was of great help so far.
"Hey Alice, i'm Amber!" Proudly smiling as she stated her name. "Hey Alice, watch this." Amber chanted an incantation and launched a fireball at the recently summoned tornadoes, causing the fire to get caught in the vortex and spin in a spiral, effectively creating a fire tornado. "HAHA! It worked!" Amber laughed joyfully. The spiders near the tornado were severely burned due to the fire caught within the small tornado. " Hey Alice, just keep summoning those tornadoes and i'll send a fireball into each one, it'll clear out these spider much quicker!" Amber readied up another incantation while waiting for another tornado.

The girl had come up with a brilliant strategy to fend off the spiders easier. Of course, those flaming tornadoes were more effective than just wind and fire. The spiders were easily knocked back by those flaming tornadoes anyway. She nodded and continued chanting a spell which summoned more small tornadoes. The fireballs that the girl summoned would merge together with the tornadoes and kill the spiders faster. The mission was now going to be almost complete and the rewards are paid handsomely. Just how many spiders are there? Maybe they were many among the tree tops, but she won't know for sure. She was more worried about the lumberjacks' safety though as the spiders were causing the damage.
Two spiders suddenly rappelled from the tree tops above them and quickly closed in onto Alice, biting her leg and spreading a toxic venom through her veins.

There was a burning sensation coming from her leg and it was not good. Oh look, there was actually poison that the spider had injected which made it even more worse. Ouch. Better get some of that antidote, but no antidotes were present in the inventory. Her only hope was to keep casting those tornadoes in hopes of fending them off somehow. Chanting another spell incantantion, another small tornado formed to keep the spiders at bay. The poison proved to be the most worrying as it would slowly eat away at her health until she dropped dead. It was like a ticking time bomb where the poison would tick until the timer had stopped. She also hoped that Amber would be able to use her fire powers to merge with the tornadoes and take them down faster.
Amber gasped in sudden horror as she watched a spider bite into Alice's leg, injecting it's poison into her veins. Short incantation later, the spider that bit Alice was burnt to a crisp, it's charred remains still smoking as Amber quickly ran up to Alice to check the wound. Not good, the poison had already begun it's work. She could already see Alice begining to pale as she summoned more tornadoes. Amber began casting more fireballs to combine with the tornadoes with a burst of effort. They had to finish off the spiders before the poison's effects lingered too long...

One of the spiders had died from the flames and Amber was doing her best to kill those giant spiders. The poison had already made her extremely pale which wasn't a good sign. Another spell incantation summoned some more small tornadoes to merge with the fireballs that Amber created. The clock was ticking and it was inevitable that the spiders would have to be killed fast. If only there were more people that used fire magic for these creepy crawlies, but the pyromancer will have to do for now. The hard part was how to defeat those things before the poison would overtake her and sap away her health. And that would be something that he must focus on for the lumberjacks and her overall condition.

"Im not gonna let you die here!" Amber thought to herself attempting to hold off the giant spiders with Alice. They seemed to keep coming indefinitely to the point of where she believed they were going to perish here. If they were going to have any remote chance at survival, she believed that she needed Alice at her full strength but the poison was putting a huge disadvantage on their end. Amber knew one way to possibly stop the poison from continuing through her blood stream at a lethal rate and possibly removing it all together. She had to suck out the poison....

The poison was slowly working its way, but then something happened. Amber had proceeded to suck out the poison and this was a good save move. However, this meant that Amber would be poisoned, but a sacrifice would have to be made in order to progress. She chanted another spell incantation which summoned another group of small tornadoes headed in the spiders' direction. Bit by bit, she could feel that her strength was returning and it was a good sign. She hoped that Amber could make it out as well, otherwise she would have to make it out of the forest alone. She was sure that Amber wanted to help cure the poison somehow and this was the only way to do it.
